Guacamole

Fresh guacamole is a delicious and healthy dip that is easy to make at home. Here's a simple recipe for fresh guacamole:

 

Ingredients:

6-8 ripe avocados (depending on size)

1 finely chopped red onion

1 bunch of finely chopped cilantro

4-6 limes, juiced

1-2 small jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the inside into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork or a potato masher until it is smooth with some chunks.
  3. Add the finely chopped red onion, cilantro, and minced jalapeño pepper (if used).
  4. Squeeze in the lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Serve the fresh guacamole immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips and vegetables, or use them as a topping for tacos or salads.
